Rehabilitation of Nuseirat Inaugurates The First Acclimatization For the Qamar Al-Zaman Rest house in the Central Governorate For persons With Disabilities

The Association for Rehabilitation and Social Training – Al-Nusairat inaugurated on Sunday evening the first Acclimatization of Qamar Al-Zaman Rest House in the Central Governorate for people with disabilities, located on the beach of Al-Zuwaida.
The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Governor of Gaza Governorate, Major General Ibrahim Abu Al-Naja, as well as the partners from the Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) Association, a number of official and national figures, and representatives of institutions and employees of the Association for Rehabilitation and Social Training.
In his welcoming speech, Mr. Luay Abu Seif, the project manager, welcomed all attendees who came to share in this opening, which is part of the activities of the Comprehensive and Accessible Community Project.
Mr. Kamal Abu Shaawish, the Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, delivered a speech in which he welcomed all the attendees, including His Excellency the Governor of Gaza, representing President Mahmoud Abbas. Abu Shaawish considered this qualitative and exclusive opening as a continuation of the achievements made by the Association during the past two years. He stated that they shine amidst challenges and strive to achieve additions that serve our society and the targeted group of people with disabilities.
His Excellency the Governor of Gaza, Ibrahim Abu Al-Naja, considered that the Association for Rehabilitation and Social Training in Al-Nusairat has been able to achieve significant leaps of creativity and excellence in serving the targeted group and the Palestinian society, despite the difficulties it faced. He commended the President and members of the Association’s Board of Directors.
Naji Naji, representing people with disabilities, spoke and expressed that they always strive to achieve an inclusive and accessible society. He affirmed that the Rehabilitation Association has been able to achieve this through its competent management, clear philosophy, and empowerment of people with disabilities, while ensuring their easy access.
At the end of the speeches, the ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in the presence of a joyful atmosphere among all the attendees who recognized the importance of this achievement and what the Association has provided and continues to offer to people with disabilities.
